No legal advice
DisputeDocs Pro is a software platform. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation or legal advice. Information and templates provided by the Service are general in nature and are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
No guarantee of results
Credit reporting outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including the accuracy of underlying data, the response of credit bureaus and furnishers, and applicable law. We make no representation that use of the Service will result in the removal or modification of any specific credit report item, an increase in credit score, or approval for credit.
Consumer responsibility
You are responsible for the truthfulness of information you submit and correspondence you send. Submitting false or misleading disputes may violate federal and state law, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA).
Not a credit repair organization
When the Service is used directly by a consumer, DisputeDocs Pro operates as self-service software, not as a "credit repair organization" performing services on your behalf. When the Service is used by professionals to serve their own clients, those professionals are solely responsible for compliance with the CROA and applicable state credit-services laws.
Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (including Stripe for payments and credit bureaus for correspondence). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of third parties.
Limitation of liability & liability cap
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DisputeDocs Pro, its officers, employees, and affiliates disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims is capped at the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or US$100, as set out in section 10 of the Terms of Service.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DisputeDocs Pro and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any third-party claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your submitted disputes or correspondence, your handling of consumer data, or your violation of these terms or applicable law. See section 11 of the Terms of Service.
Governing law
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and is subject to the dispute-resolution and arbitration provisions in the Terms of Service.
